It inadvertently sets off a planetary security grid and two Salene officers named Packard and Rikyard go to investigate. The young people who have made the living which under the military government of Seiren, are oppressed. Time was also spent examining test animation which looped repeatedly throughout the segment. Yamato 2520 (YAMATO2520, Yamato Nī Gō Nī Zero) was Yoshinobu Nishizaki's attempt at a sequel to Space Battleship Yamato, set several hundred years after the original series. My first thought was that the defeat of Gamilas would be the first volume and the rest could be volume 2, with substantial changes on Iscandar, to be released at the New Year holiday. Masuo: Kodai is after all a normal boy. But in its vastness there are infinite possibilities for adventure. It wasn’t a name from the Western language. Maeda: It’s something like this: it is Yamato, and in a way it isn’t…but it is still Yamato, after all. Maeda: Yes. Yamamoto: I think Yamato was similar to a simulation game experience; we actually felt the “roman” [poetic drama] of the journey. [Referring to a seven-episode OVA series.
